Five Ponds Loop
Great loop, Hiked in late fall, trees are mostly bare and lots of leaves on the ground which affords some nice views. There are some steep pitches but the trail is very well maintained and clearly blazed. Terrain is not technical but its still a satisfying walk in the woods. Took about 2 hours and 15 mins.

Five Ponds Loop
Hiked this new loop for the first time on a day after a 3 in. wet snow. We really enjoyed the ease in following the well marked loop. Most of the trails for this loop have good footing although there were some narrow rocky areas on the descent from Mt. Defiance. Fun to see five ponds and a view from Mt. Defiance at the end.
